Community engagement
When we develop an area, we look beyond the site itself and the opportunities it offers businesses. We also look at the surrounding area. That’s why we involve local residents, businesses and other stakeholders in our plans from an early stage.
We share information and listen to questions, ideas and concerns. Then we look at what they mean for how the plans are worked out. Local knowledge and experience can help make plans better, and we adjust them where possible.

We explain our plans as early as possible: what they are, why the development is needed and how it may affect the surrounding area. We also explain the steps involved and when there is room for input.
Who we involve differs from project to project. This can include local residents, businesses, park management, utility companies, nature organisations and other organisations and stakeholders in the area.

How we involve the community depends on the project and the stage it is in. We use different ways to share information and talk with people, such as information letters, information evenings, sounding board groups and one-to-one conversations.
We work closely with the municipality involved. This makes sure information is shared and that feedback from the community reaches the right people.

Do you live or work near one of our projects? Do you have a question, an idea or a concern? Please feel free to get in touch.
